The adventurer Scott Butler, has paid us a visit on his way to conquer mount Elbrus which is located in Southern Russia near the border of Georgia.
Mr Butler is on a quest to reach the dormant volcano by bike and rowing boat, and one of the last parts is rowing through Black Sea in a specially designed boat.
Yacht club "Port Bourgas" has the privilegie to host Mr Butler`s quipment while he and his crew take a short break in in Burgas.

Athens Eurolymp Week 2016 has ended.
Liuben Tenekedjiev- sailing Laser 4.7, has taken the 9Th place in the final standings from 89 participants in his class.
Tenekedjiev was holding 1St position through one of the final races, but wavering wind conditions have not worked in his favor resulting in race reduction and finishing second.

Official entry from for the upcoming "REGATTA PORT BOURGAS 2016 - BOURGAS SAILING WEEK" has been announced by the race committee.
We appeal to all participants to fill in the entry form and send it electronically or present it physicaly when registration for the reggata is to be made.
Please be advised that the "ENTRY FORM" is a manditory requirement to participate in the regatta.

Mihail Kopanov and his crew has won the 60th annual regatta "Third March" and has triumphed victorious for 20th time in a row howding the undisputed record for the race.
The event was a combination of regatta "Third March" and the Republican chanpionshiop for "YAL-6" class, which has spiced the final result allowing Mr Kopanov and his crew to claim both titles in one shot.

A winter training camp has been organised by the club for beginer sailors and advanced competitors in class "Optimist" and " Laser 4.7"
Under magnificent weather conditions and mellow winter temperatures between -2 and +10 degrees, our coaches endevour to improve both mental and phisical condition of our youngest.

On 20th December 2015 in the city of Varna, Bulgaria the ceremony of the 36th annual "Golden Globe - Cor Caroli" awards has been conducted.
А "Honorary Diploma" and a nomination for immaculate organisation have been awarded to Yacht Club - Port Bourgas for the "Europen championship 420 and 470 Juniors" which the club has proudly hosted back in August 2015.
The award has been given personaly by the chairman of "Cor Caroli" foundation Capt. Toma Tomov.

A coach "Clinic" has been conducted between 20th and 22nd November 2015 in Burgas.Bulgaria.
With great pleassure, Yacht Club "Port -Bourgas" has hosted the event. The guest lector and the former coach of the National Italian team Mr Massimo Giorgianni, has passed valiuble knolwage and guidence to all presnet coachs of the Bulgarian sailing clubs.

With pride na joy we are happy to announce that in the late evening of 02.09.2015 in Dziwnow, Poland, at the ongoing meeting of the International Optimist Dinghy Assosiation, the application of Yacht Club "Port Bourgas" (www.yachtclubportbourgas.org) and the Bulgarian Sailing Federation (http://www.bulsaf.bg) has been aproved.
Yacht Club "Port Bourgas" has won the bidding in really close competition taking the win amongst 64 other countries.

We are proud to inform that Yacht-Club "Port Bourgas" has applied to host the upcoming Optimist European Chmpionship in 2017.
Тhe president of the club Mr Evgeniy Mavrodiev departured for the city of Dziwnow, Poland where the "Optimist" World championship is ongoing.
The voting will take place on 2nd September 2015.

Today was the final training day before the official measurment process which will start on 08/08/2015 at 9:00 AM.
The racers had the pleasure to do their lasts tests and preparations under excelent weather conditions with wind speed of 10 to 12 meters per second.
The entire staff that organises the event is working around the clock taking care of the last preparations before the upcoming launch of the championship.
