In the early morning today, our young competitors, led by Ivan Vasilеv have deprtured for the city of Varna, where the annual regatta "Port Varna" 2016 will take place, hosted by Yacht Club " Capt. G.Georgiev Port Varna"

The venue will take place between 11th and 14th August in the bay of Varna. 

Yacht Club "Port Bourgas" will participate with seven sailors in class "Optimist" and one in class "Laser 4.7" as follows: 
 

Three crews form Yacht Club "Port Bourgas" seized podium places on the annual regatta "Port Bourgas - Keelboats" 2016! 

In IRC2 Class Mihail Kopanov with UK Sailmakers placed 1st and Ivailo Dimitrov with Muson have placed 3rd. 

In Open class -Sundowner and Petko Dimitrov with 5 first places have taken the 1st position.  

The Bulgarian nationals in class "Optimist" has come to an end, yet again, the young sailors of Yacht Club "Port -Bourags" has made us very proud. 

We have the pleassure to invite you to the annual international sailing regatta "Port Bourgas - Keelboats" 2016 organised in cooperation with Port of Bourgas and Burgas Municipality 

The event will take place within the area of bay of Burgas and the south region of the Black sea coastline - west of the lane between Emine and Maslen nos Capes between 4th and 7th August 2016. 

The competition will be conducted in three separate classes : IRC, ORC and OPEN. A prize pot of 3000 leva will be splited between the winners.

Our young and very promising "Optimist" sailor Clement Sarastov, has secured his spot in the golden fleet at the ongoing European "Optimist" championship hosted in Crоtone, Italy. 

24th, 18th and 12th position through the last day of qualifications, were enough for Clement to make its way within the top fleet. 

Proud and with elevated spirits we are all behind Clement!

Another decisive victory for the young athlete Liuben Tenekedjiev of Yacht Club "Port Bourgas". 

With great effort and consistent sailing through the three sailing days of the Bulgarian National Championship - Olympic classes in Varna, Bulgaria, 

Liuben has managed to top the standings on both youth and overall fleets, observing the last race from the shore as the victory was secured. 

The adventurer Scott Butler, has paid us a visit on his way to conquer mount Elbrus which is located in Southern Russia near the border of Georgia. 

Mr Butler is on a quest to reach the dormant volcano by bike and rowing boat, and one of the last parts is rowing through Black Sea in a specially designed boat.  

Yacht club "Port Bourgas" has the privilegie to host Mr Butler`s quipment while he and his crew take a short break in in Burgas.

 Athens Eurolymp Week 2016 has ended.

Liuben Tenekedjiev- sailing Laser 4.7, has taken the 9Th place in the final standings from 89 participants in his class. 

Tenekedjiev was holding 1St position through one of the final races, but wavering wind conditions have not worked in his favor resulting in race reduction and finishing second. 

Today was the final training day before the official measurment process which will start on 08/08/2015 at 9:00 AM.

The racers had the pleasure to do their lasts tests and preparations under excelent weather conditions with wind speed of 10 to 12 meters per second. 

The entire staff that organises the event is working around the clock taking care of the last preparations before the upcoming launch of the championship.

The annual regatta “Chernomorez” has been conducted in Burgas on 27 & 28 June 2015 

In total of 5 races many domestic sailing clubs have participated in the regatta including full team of “Yacht Club Port Burgas” with over 20 sailors.

Official racing classes that have participated were: Optimist, Cadet, Laser Standard , Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, FINN, 420 & 470
