On 22nd April 2018, we were privileged to meet the young reporters from "Alternativa Press" printed and supported by High School "Petko Rosen" Burgas

During the meeting, we have introduced our little friends to the world of sailing sport. 

Our background and aims were presented by the manager of the club Krasimir Naumov. Stanislava Todorova and Liuben Tenekedjiev, our decorated sailors, have made short interviews, revealing the positive impact of sailing and why they have embraced it as their sport. 

A second regatta and a second high performance for our team! 

The Nessebar Cup 2018 regatta has taken place in the bay of Nessebar between 13th-15th April 2018. The organizer has made sure to add glimmer to the event with a colourful opening ceremony including a manifestation from the venue area to the old part of the town of Nessebar. 

Due to the lack of wind and considerable fog during the first day, there were no races. This forced the competition to be conducted within two days during which a total of 5 races have been done. 

The sailing team of Yacht Club "Port Bourgas" has had a fine start at the opening regatta for season 2018!

The annual regatta "Briz" took place between 5-8th April, on which our competitors have made their way to the podium places in the classes; Laser 4.7, Laser Standart and 470.

The uneasy conditions of gusty Eastern wind which varied between 7 - 15 m/sec,  have pushed everyone to give their best in the water.

Yacht Club "Port Bourgas" has hosted the National championship for Non-Olympic classes between 18th and 21st August 2016. 

It has been good competition with good wind conditions, clean sailing and many emotions, which at the moment is only a glimmer compared to what is in our hearts. 

Liuben Tenekedjiev, has performed his final masterpiece on national level! With eight consecutive decisive victories on the eight races , he has claimed the title National Champion in Laser 4.7 class, leaving a trail of blaze within the sea. 

In the early morning today, our young competitors, led by Ivan Vasilеv have deprtured for the city of Varna, where the annual regatta "Port Varna" 2016 will take place, hosted by Yacht Club " Capt. G.Georgiev Port Varna"

The venue will take place between 11th and 14th August in the bay of Varna. 

Yacht Club "Port Bourgas" will participate with seven sailors in class "Optimist" and one in class "Laser 4.7" as follows: 
 

Three crews form Yacht Club "Port Bourgas" seized podium places on the annual regatta "Port Bourgas - Keelboats" 2016! 

In IRC2 Class Mihail Kopanov with UK Sailmakers placed 1st and Ivailo Dimitrov with Muson have placed 3rd. 

In Open class -Sundowner and Petko Dimitrov with 5 first places have taken the 1st position.  

Our young and very promising "Optimist" sailor Clement Sarastov, has secured his spot in the golden fleet at the ongoing European "Optimist" championship hosted in Crоtone, Italy. 

24th, 18th and 12th position through the last day of qualifications, were enough for Clement to make its way within the top fleet.

Mihail Kopanov and his crew has won the 60th annual regatta "Third March" and has triumphed victorious for 20th time in a row howding the undisputed record for the race. 

The event was a combination of regatta "Third March" and the Republican chanpionshiop for "YAL-6" class, which has spiced the final result allowing Mr Kopanov and his crew to claim both titles in one shot.

With one third place, one second and five first places, the team from Yacht Club "Port Bourgas" have accomplished a decisive victory. 

At 17:30 on 12.7.2015 echoed the last horn of the annual regatta "Saint Marina" that has been conducted between 10th and 12th of July 2015.

In the last day udner perfect sailing conditions the last two races have been completed reaching the planed ammount of seven races. 

At wind speed between 5 - 7 m/sec all sailors have reveiled their full capacity and after two outstanding races the final standings were formed.
